It’s amazing that in 2018 music videos still play such a major role in the entertainment business. This year was a major year for visuals because of the strong messages as well as the creativity. We've seen Ariana Grande bring us down memory lane with some of our favorite romantic movies , The Carter’s and Childish Gambino using their massive platform to give us important messages , Teyana Taylor, Bruno and Cardi B took us back to the 90/ early 2000s. These visuals reminded us what music and artistry is all about . In no specific order, here are our 10 favorite videos from this year.

Beyonce and Jay-Z shot this video in the Louvre standing in front of the Mona Lisa...... How iconic is that ?! The message overall was about blackness and its relationship to Western colonialism, black capitalism as act of radical subversion (renting out the Louvre).
